The FAQ
Do you Travel?
I'm based in the greater St. Louis area, and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come. My standard rate for driving out of range is 45 cents a mile.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been taking photographs my whole life! I started doing professional client work around 4 years ago though. Gradually I've been investing in the best camera equipment on the market to bring you the best images.
How many photos do we get?
I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why my packages include a certain number of images. I will choose the best photos to tell your story. You can always buy more though! It is $5 for each additional image.
How do we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites!
Do you retouch photos?
I do retouch photographs and it's $5 per image.
Whats your turn around time?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). Typically, I have a fairly quick response time and you will receive your photos much sooner than the maximum time!
How do we book you?
If you would like to book a session I suggest to contact me under the contact portion of my website. I will receive an email and we will set up a date from there. You can also message me on Facebook.
What should we wear?
First and foremost, I suggest you pick out an outfit that you love! For a timeless look, try to avoid anything with big logos. If you will be photographed with your significant other or several other people I always suggest to pick complimentary colors, but nothing to matchy matchy.
How far out do you book?
I book weddings a year to a year and a half out in advance. If you are looking for a more extended booking please contact me.
What should we do for an engagement session?
Engagement sessions are usually shot either 1 hour after sunrise or 2 hours before sunset (this is what’s known as the Golden Hour). Those beautiful, light, airy, golden-lit pictures you’ve seen? Yeah, that’s the secret!
HOW DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding. I'll send you a guide to help you organize your day. It's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites! On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments, and all the details that make your wedding unique.
